I have some incredible news! As I’m sure you all know, fine art has been a very important and evolving part of my life for several years now, and something that I’m always looking to develop and improve. So, I was recently given the opportunity to travel to Pennsylvania to visit a realist atelier program called the Ani Art Academy Waichulis. This academy is providing one of the best intensive multi-year art educations in the world and the artwork coming out of here is absolutely phenomenal so naturally I wanted to be a part of it. I had been in contact with the academy for several months going through the application and interview process, stressing out about how insanely selective they are only accepting 12 students at a time. But I can finally announce that I’ve been officially accepted into the Ani Academy with a full scholarship and I will be heading to Pennsylvania as an apprentice of master artist Anthony Waichulis January 2020! It’s going to be a very exciting time but also a whole lot of work. The program lasts for about 3 years and is pretty rigorous so you won’t see me in Ohio much after this January, but if you’d like to keep up to date with my work at the academy I’ll be doing weekly videos showing my progress and sharing what I’ll be learning.
